Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Twitter page @volblackout is a site that shows University of Tennessee college students drunk, drugged and passed out. And now the site is becoming well-known.
Student Ryan McDaniel said, "Anything related to the University of Tennessee it comes up as a similar post. I follow a professor on twitter, and on the 'people you may know,' Vol Blackout was there. So it's definitely making it's way around."
Being on Vol Blackout is something that students say they don't want to be known for.
"All employers use social media. I don't think students are realizing how much this can hinder their chances of getting a job in the future," said McDaniel.
UPDATE as of 3:34 p.m. 1/15/14: UT Police representatives say although a deputy originally told Local 8 Now they may investigate, they do not have jurisdiction over the page.
UT's Office of Judicial Affairs had no comment regarding the Twitter page.
