KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Looks like the Volunteers picked up another big time recruit -- and maybe their biggest of the year. On Thursday, five-star recruit Jalen Hurd, of Hendersonville, tweeted "I have officially committed to play football at The University of Tennessee."
Hurd, who attends Beech High School, was considered the 15th best recruit in the nation by Rivals.com. The website reported that the 6-foot-3, 215-pound back called coach Butch Jones just after the Vols began practice Thursday morning to inform him.
