White Lightning Trail Festival brings history to life, draws vistiors

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)- A taste of Tennessee's past is helping support it's present and future.

The third annual White Lightning Trail Festival is being held this weekend in Cumberland Gap.

The festival kicked off Friday afternoon and wraps up Saturday night.

Musicians and vendors of different kinds line up the streets, trying to entertain and drum up business.

But at the same time...some vendors show off skills that tend to be forgotten...like making some arts and crafts by hand.

Saturday night, bikers and fellow Marines will pay tribute to injured service member Cody Evans of Claiborne County.
