KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- It was a Christmas Eve Sarah Davis will never forget.
"He came in..he had tears in his eyes...sat down and held my hand," she said as she remembers her doctor telling her 'the cancer came back.'
"They found out that it was in my liver, my brain, I had some spots on my hip and in my back. Also, in my chest," she said. "I thought it was a bad dream."
Davis was first diagnosed with breast cancer at only 23 years old. She underwent radiation for 6 months, but that wasn't the end of it. She found another lump one year later.
"We determined in the beginning we would fight and not it get us," said Betsy Davis, Sarah's mom.
And it didn't.
Davis bravely battled the cancer and managed to get through school with her LPN degree. She said she's always wanted to be a nurse and take care of people.
Now, she's the one in need. This time from the Burzsynski Clinic in Houston, Texas.
"They specialize in brain tumors. I'm hoping that they will really be beneficial to me," she said.
It will cost her atleast $25,000 to begin the process. That's why her friends came up with a way to help Dacvis beat the odds.
Froyoz will be donating 15 percent of each sale to help Sarah raise money for the treatment she needs.
"She's battling for her life. We hope we have so many customers we can't get them all in the building," said Franchise Director of Froyoz Terry Bateman.
