Updated: 10:29 PM From the WVLT Volunteer TV Newsroom, the actress best known for playing Sally Spectra on The Bold and the Beautiful has died. Darlene Conley was 72. Conley was diagnosed with stomach cancer three months ago. Conley began her stint playing Spectra in 1988. She won two Daytime Emmy nominations for best supporting actress. A CBS publicist says Conley died at her home in Los Angeles over the weekend.
