Unemployed East Tennesseans get help filing claims

Updated: 01/30/2009 - Over the last month, thousands of East Tennesseans have lost their jobs causing an overload to the unemployment filing systems. Because of the volume, people are having difficulty receiving checks and are ultimately unable to take care of bills and their families. The Tennessee Career Center started sessions to help folks file their claims and get their checks quicker.
