KNOXVILLE -- The Knox County Health Department has a mission: making all people living in Knox County healthier this year.
Monday, Health Department leaders shared plans for a healthier county with county commissioners.
It's all part of the "Every Person a Healthy Person" initiative.
The health department says the big emphasis will be identifying major health concerns by getting input from people across Knox County.
"Our entire community is going to be engaged and improving the health status of the community," said Stephanie Welch with the Knox County Health Department.
Welch says along with pinpointing the county's top health issues, county health leaders will develop priorities to fix those worries.
