Low levels of vitamin D linked to children with asthma

Knoxville (WVLT) - Low levels of vitamin D may be linked to severe asthma in children.

Researchers examined the blood levels of vitamin d in hundreds of children with asthma.

They found that low vitamin d levels were associated with more kids ending up in the hospital because of asthma and more airway hyperactivity in lung function tests.
