Knoxville (WVLT) - An aspirin a day may do more than just prevent a stroke or a heart attack, it may also lower your chance of developing asthma.
Researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital, found aspirin to be associated with a 22% reduction of adult asthma.
The reason, aspirin douses inflammation, and it is believed, inflammatory pathways can lead to asthma.
However, researchers stress aspirin won't help people who already have asthma, in fact it may make it worse.
