Knoxville (WVLT) The days of lighting up at Neyland Stadium are over.
Its part of a new statewide smoking ban for all sports arenas, both indoor and outdoor.
This Saturday, at UT's first home game, ushers and event staff will be patrolling the area to make sure you don't violate the new rule.
Smoking in Neyland Stadium's seating area has been banned for years and last year you could only smoke at specific gates.
UT officials say the best thing to do is get your smoke in before the game.
Tiffany Carpenter, the director UT athletics says, "we can't have pass outs because of an SEC rule. So get your last smoke before you come in and you won't have to wait until after the game for your last smoke."
Carpenter says you'll be given a warning, because its a new rule that's going to take sometime getting used to.
