KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A local group has set up a virtual dementia tour to help people get a first hand look at what it is like living with the disease.
The Young Professionals for Alzheimer's Tenn. Inc. has coordinated the event. The goal is to have participants "walk in the shoes" of a dementia patient, in order to better understand the disease.
The event will be held on Tuesday, September 13 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Donelson law firm , which is located at 265 Brookview Centre Way, Suite 600.
