(CBS) -- People born and raised in big cities are at higher risk for anxiety.
Canadian researchers looked at brain activity of people from urban and rural areas. They found those living in cities had a greater stress response in the area of the brain involved with emotion and mood regulation.
Researchers say more studies are needed to fully understand the link.
