ETSU seeks study participants at risk for diabetes

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- A new research study at East Tennessee State University needs men and women who are at risk for diabetes.

The ETSU Exercise Science team will lead participants through two months of supervised endurance exercise training, which can help prevent diabetes.

Training and evaluations will be conducted in the ETSU/Mountain States Health Alliance Athletic Center.

The research is funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health.
