SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A federal case against Bedford Cheese of Shelbyville stemming from alleged unsanitary conditions has been closed.
The company building is up for sale, the Shelbyville Times-Gazette reports.
The Food and Drug Administration and U.S. marshals closed the business in February, seizing 96 cases of cheese and other products, alleging a rodent infestation throughout the building.
A default judgment of condemnation, forfeiture and destruction of all the food products at the location has been signed by U.S. District Judge Curtis L. Collier, according to the paper.
