It wouldn't be Thanksgiving dinner without the basics; turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. So what if you could have it all and still cut calories?

It's almost time to stuff your gut with Thanksgiving fixings...but wait...let's make it healthier this year with tips from Casey at the Wellness Center at Dowell Springs.

Casey says, "Fresh is always better! "

She says you should try to do more homemade items such as stuffing with whole wheat bread.

But if you don't have time to make everything homemade, you can get away with some shortcuts. Boxed potatoes and canned pumpkin are always good choices when it comes to finding some shortcuts.
