Get fit and motivated for free

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - You have the chance to learn about fitness and get motivated for free!

The Weekly Fitness Challenge, a Knoxville-based worldwide grassroots organization, is giving you the chance to get fit and you can do it free for three days.

The kickoff event begins Thursday, August 11 and runs through Saturday August 13. There will be seminars, motivational speeches on nutrition and wellness and group exercise classes.

The "challenge" part of the kickoff will take place on August 13. You will be introduced to a series of four 12-week programs. Mentors will be given to each participant.

Most events will take place at the Lindsay Young Downtown YMCA, 605 West Clinch Avenue.
