KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- To help figure out what programs to advocate for future senior citizens, the Knoxville-Knox County Council on Aging hosts an event Thursday to allow any seniors or caretakers talk about their needs.
The meeting will focus on identifying senior needs that are unmet in the community.
The Council says these meetings in the past led to programs such as the Gift of Sight, Hearing & Dentures and Volunteer Assisted Transportation.
The meeting is open to the public and starts at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the O'Connor Center on Winona St in Knoxville.
