KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- It could be a difficult issue; deciding on what to do as your parent gets older. But there is help from the Office on Aging in Knoxville.
They are holding a free educational program that invited adults with aging parents to learn more about care in the future.
Most parents want to live independently and in order for that to happen; adult children need to know the different options and service available to them.
On October 11th from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. The Office on Aging will host a "Caring for your Parent" program. It will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Farragut located at 239 Jamestowne Blvd. Farragut, TN 37934.
Experts will discuss the legal and financial aspects of care giving and how to let your parents age with dignity.
