KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Remote Area Medical's latest dental, vision, and medical clinic is coming to Chilhowee Park on February 4 and 5. All services are free, with no eligibility requirements, and will be offered on a first-come, first served basis.
The clinic will open at six o'clock each morning in the Jacob Building, 3301 E. Magnolia Avenue, though Remote Are Medical recommends patients arrive early, by 3:30 a.m. or earlier to have the best chance to be seen. Visitors will be able to park for free at Gate 1 off of Prosser Road. To help accommodate the long lines, organizers plane on opening the parking lot at midnight the night before the clinic opens.
Services include:
Dental: - Cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
Vision: - Free eye exam with free prescription glasses made on site, as time and supplies permit.
Medical - General medical consults, women's health exams, and flu shots (while supplies last).
