DOWNTOWN KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- $1.4 million dollars were raised last year with Race for the Cure.
About 15,000 people registered for the 5k walk/run downtown.
Money raised goes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation.
75 percent stays right here to fund treatment programs, education and screening.
