Storms Set off Tornadoes Across the Country

UNDATED (AP) -- At least three people are dead in a huge storm system that has set off tornadoes from Missouri to Florida.

Both people inside a mobile home were killed when it was swept off the ground in Missouri.

A man in Michigan was killed last night when his house was destroyed in a line of storms that flipped cars and demolished several houses.

And a tornado in Florida sent shoppers at a mall and children at a day-care scrambling for cover.

Hail snarled the evening rush hour in Chicago.

A twister in Pensacola, Florida, yesterday damaged the roof of the Greater Little Rock Baptist Church and its day-care center. The sheriff says people "heard the warnings, grabbed the kids" and moved to safety.
