SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- A federal magistrate in Spokane, Washington, has entered a not-guilty plea for a man accused of raping his own daughter and posting video of the attack online.
Kenneth Freeman was then ordered held without bond. A half-dozen U.S. marshals were in the courtroom with the former fugitive, whose wrists were shackled to a waist chain.
Freeman was indicted in January on one count of producing child pornography and one count of transporting child pornography. He has been on the U.S. Marshals' most-wanted list. He was returned to the U.S. yesterday from Hong Kong.
Authorities say he'll face more federal charges in Oregon, along with state charges of child rape and bail-jumping connected to the attack four years ago. They say Freeman fled the U.S. last year after his daughter told her mother about the abuse.
