UPDATE: Two Dead at Houston Mall

Houston, TX (WVLT/CBS) -- Police in Houston say two people are dead after a shooting at a mall.

KHOU-TV reports mall management says the situation started at the Greenspoint mall at about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning when the boyfriend of a female mall employee called, threatening to harm her.

They say the woman called mall security but her boyfriend arrived before security could get there.

They say he pulled the gate down over the front of the shop and barricaded them both inside.

Witnesses reported hearing two gunshots.

Houston Police and SWAT team members evacuated the mall and locked down the entrances.

A short time later, police found the man and woman dead.

They believe he killed her and then himself.
