Knoxville (WVLT) - A Knoxville family is homeless after an early morning fire destroyed their house in the Karns Community.
Firefighters say the fire started on Cascade Falls Lane around 2:00 this morning.
Officials say everyone in the home made it out safely, and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Just a couple of hours earlier, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Avenue in Northeast Knoxville.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Investigators don't believe anyone lives in the home at this time.
