ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- Mostly minor injuries are reported after two tour buses collided in northwestern New Jersey, sending some two dozen people to the hospital.
The crash happened along Interstate 80 in the westbound lanes in Roxbury Township.
According to the New Jersey State Police, one of the buses was braking for traffic and changed lanes, hitting the right rear of a second bus. That sent the second bus into the median, and the bus turned over on its side.
Nearly 100 people were aboard the two buses. Most of the injuries happened to people onboard the bus that overturned. Twenty-four people suffered minor injuries and two had moderate injuries. The driver is said to have sustained serious back injuries.
