WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. (AP) -- A northern Kentucky man charged with killing his parents has pleaded guilty to murder.
The Kentucky Enquirer reports that 23-year-old Russell Bramlage entered the plea Wednesday in Grant County Circuit Court.
Commonwealth's Attorney Jim Crawford recommended that Bramlage serve a life sentence with the possibility of parole in 20 years. Formal sentencing was set for Oct. 22.
Family members at the hearing declined to comment to the newspaper, but Crawford said the couple's other children agreed to the plea deal.
Bramlage is accused of fatally shooting Dr. Terry Bramlage and Lynda Bramlage in November 2007. Their bodies were discovered days later after Terry Bramlage failed to show up for work.
