Knoxville, Tennessee (WVLT) The attorney for an amusement park manager convicted of reckless homicide of a park guest, says he and his client are confident in the legal system as the case makes it to the state court of appeals.

Last year, a jury found Charles Stan Martin guilty in the death ofJjune Alexander.

She fell from a ride at the "Rockin' Raceway" in Pigeon Forge back in 2004.

A judge sentenced Martin to four years probation and two hundred hours of community service.

Martin's attorney says he and Martin are anxiously awaiting the decision of the court, which will probably take several weeks.
