NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Nashville neighbor who checked on the man next door because his door was open has found him shot to death.
According to The Tennessean, 59-year-old Robert Mitchell had been shot once in the lower part of his body.
Metro Nashville Police spokesman Don Aaron didn't comment on possible suspects but said the death at West Winds Apartments was discovered Tuesday morning by the neighbor.
