There is good news if you're planning a fall trip. The price at the pump keeps dropping.
In the past two weeks, the Lundberg Survey says gas has dropped 8.5 cents on average nationwide to about $3.75 a gallon.
But, that number is expected to drop even more.
Experts quoted in an article in USA Today predict that average could bottom out between $3.35 and $3.30 per gallon over the coming weeks.
They could stay that way through the beginning of next year.
According to the web-site gasbuddy.com, the state-wide average per gallon is $3.42. In Knoxville, it's a little bit cheaper at $3.40.
