Man goes on bulldozer rampage

PORT ANGELES, Wash.(WVLT)--A man was arrested Friday after allegedly going on a bulldozer rampage.

The drama happened in the town of Port Angeles, north-west of Seattle, Washington.

Kirotv reported a resident told the Peninsula Daily News that the man took a piece of logging equipment called a skidder and "just went nuts."

Vehicles, boats and homes were damaged and a power pole was knocked down. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Keith Haynes, who lives near one of the damaged homes, told the newspaper that a woman inside one of the damaged homes escaped unharmed.

Authorities arrested the man.

The Seattle Times reports Jim Borte of the Clallam County Sheriff's Department said the man was "highly agitated" and that "there appears to be an ongoing dispute with some of his neighbors."

The State Department of Transportation said power and signals in the area were out.
