One-eyed kitten becomes internet sensation

PORTLAND, Ore. (WVLT) -- A one-eyed kitten rescued near Portland, Oregon quickly became an internet sensation.

When he showed up at the Multnomah Animal Control shelter, he weighed just one pound, fleas had sucked so much blood out of him he had anemia that has caused him to have a heart murmur. As if that wasn't enough he's also been the victim of some sort of trauma that has left him without one of his eyes.

Blazer Schaffer is a foster care giver for Multnomah County Animal Control who took Sir Stuffington and his two brothers in. She says Sir Stuffington is a cat with a desire to live. He's also got a Facebook page and Sir Stuffington the one eyed cat now has more than 14-thousand facebook friends after just five days

Sir Stuffington and hit litter mates are well on their way to recovery.
