Pair charged with burglarizing Sevier Co. cabin

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A prowler call in the Cedar Falls cabin community leads to burglary charges for a two people in Sevier Co. early Tuesday morning, according to Sheriff Ron Seals

Around 2:30 a.m., police were tipped to a two people in a red car prowling around a cabin with flashlights. When ab officer arrived, he saw a red car back up to one of the cabins and heard noises in the rear of the home.

Upon inspection, the officer found the home had been burglarized and the suspects took off on foot. More officers and K-9 units wee called to the scene and, after a 2 1/2 hour search, located two men, 20 year-odl Robert Jones and a 17 year-old juvenile.

Seals said both men were awaiting arraignment the investigation is still ongoing.
