ST. LUIS, MI (CBS/AP) A massive snow storm is hitting the Midwest this morning.

The snow started yesterday and is causing big problems for drivers.

The National Weather Service says some areas could get up to 14 inches of snow by the end of the morning.

Winter storm warnings cover nearly all of Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.

Kansas's governor has closed the state government and is urging folks to stay off the streets. But, many in the area are welcoming the snow.

The Midwest has been in the midst of a severe drought.
