LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities have arrested a woman who allegedly is seen molesting a girl in decade-old child porn photos made in Los Angeles.
Fifty-two-year-old Letha Mae Montemayor was arrested Thursday night in the San Fernando Valley, a day after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials announced they were looking for a man and woman who appeared to be molesting a 13-year-old girl in the widely circulated photos.
Authorities say the shots appeared to have been made in the San Fernando Valley about 11 years ago. Both adults have been charged with producing child pornography.
Federal authorities say Montemayor matches the description of the woman, who had distinctive tattoos including a butterfly on her hip and a curled-up cat on her shoulder.
The man remains at large.
