WASHINGTON (AP) -- A boost for Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton, who has won the endorsement of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
The union is the largest for workers in the public service sector, with 1.4 million members. It represents service and health care workers in the public and private sectors including nurses, bus drivers, child care providers, custodians and librarians.
The union is expected to provide help in early voting states, such as Iowa, where it has about 30,000 members, and New Hampshire, where it has about 3,000.
