Draft Gore Movement To Air Television Ads

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A national group seeking to draft Al Gore as a Democratic presidential candidate will begin airing a television ad nationally and in New Hampshire.

It promotes a petition drive to encourage the former vice president to run.

Gore, of Nashville, has said repeatedly he has no plans to run.

The 30-second spot by DraftGore.com will hit the airwaves tomorrow.

The ad may not do much good in New Hampshire, where it is scheduled to run for three days. Tomorrow is the deadline for candidates to file for a ballot position in the New Hampshire primary.
