MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Republican Marsha Blackburn has won her party's nomination for another term in Congress.
Blackburn defeated Tom Leatherwood, a former state senator, in the district's GOP primary Thursday.
With 94 percent of the vote counted, Blackburn had about 29,000 votes, or 65 percent, to roughly 15,600 votes, or 35 percent, for Leatherwood.
