McCain says Obama will 'say anything' to win

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- John McCain claims Barack Obama will say "anything to get elected."

McCain made that statement at the start of a cross-state bus tour aimed at Florida's blue-collar workers.

McCain says Obama made a change to a universal mortgage credit only after hearing how much the American people didn't like his original idea.

An Obama spokesman calls that a distortion, and says the only consistency in McCain's attacks are "how dishonest they are."

McCain is also taking on President Bush, accusing him of not yet doing anything to help homeowners facing foreclosure.

The "Straight Talk Express" is driving across Florida, where McCain will repeat his criticisms of Obama's tax plan while promoting his own.
