Knoxville (AP) -- Republican US Senate Nominee Bob Corker says President Bush should consider making changes at the Pentagon as part of a new strategy for the war in Iraq.
He said in Knoxville Wednesday that it may be time for a different Secretary of Defense, but stressed it's the President's decision.
Last night, corker visited the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Erwin, where ministers spoke to the congregation about the importance of voting and electing Christians to office.
He said his faith brought him into the public arena.
Also, Corker stopped in the small town of Clinton, and had dessert with his wife at the Hoskins Drug Store soda fountain. A crowd gathered around him to take pictures and shake his hand.
