Knoxville (WVLT) - As Campaign 2006 comes to an end, we're getting a few hints about what you'll see in 2008.
Tom Vilsack, the outgoing Governor of Iowa, filed the papers to run for President in 2008.
He had been on a short list to be John Kerry's running mate in 2004.
He's the first Democrat to formally declare a run for the Presidency in 2008.
Vilsack is planning a multi-state tour to start the end of this month.
And US Senator Bill Frist of Tennessee may have a difficult time convincing folks here that he would make a good President.
Associated Press exit polls from Tuesday showed 44-percent said he would not make a good President, while 37 percent said yes. 19 percent didn't answer.
