Milwaukee (AP) -- Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson's campaign for the White House is under way.
The former Health and Human Services Secretary kicked off the campaign for the GOP nomination this morning at a high school in Milwaukee.
He said that if elected, he would work to apply a school voucher program nationwide. He helped create the program that allows low-income families to send their children to private schools at state expense.
Thompson then headed off to another event in Iowa.
