Edwards criticizes opponents for accepting donations from News Corp. executives

WASHINGTON (AP) -- John Edwards is criticizing Democratic rival Hillary Rodham Clinton for taking more than $20,000 in donations from News Corp. officials.

Edwards led the Democratic candidates' boycott of Fox News' plans to host a Democratic presidential debate. Edwards accuses the channel of a right-wing bias and demonizing the Democratic Party.

And he's demanding Democrats give up cash from Fox employees. The Edwards campaign said it would return fewer than $1,000 in donations from three, a worker at a local Fox station in Florida and two staffers from Fox Cable Networks.

The Clinton, Obama and Dodd campaigns declined to respond to Edwards.
