Appellate Court: Breeding still off ballot

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Democratic hopeful whose able to call two counties home will not be on the upcoming Congressional Ballot.

The State Court of Appeals ruled Shelley Breeding cannot run for the Knox Co. District 89 set. Breeding had been trying to get onto the ballot for months.

The Appellate judges agreed with a Hamilton Co. judge who ruled she couldn't file as a candidate because, while her mailbox, personal taxes, and car registration, are all in Knox Co., her house is in Anderson Co.

Early voting in the race starts in mid-July.
