KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee election officials are going to be answering questions about new state laws that require voters to show photo identification at polling places.
AARP is hosting a question-and-answer session at meetings in Memphis, Jackson, Knoxville and Johnson City on Wednesday. Election officials will attend each of the sessions, which begin at 11 a.m. local time.
Elections Coordinator Mark Goins will be at the session in Knoxville.

Early voting starts Oct. 17.
