COVINGTON, Tenn. (AP) -- A Millington man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that left a 14-year-old boy dead in West Tennessee.
Dillan B. Cole was riding his bicycle last week when he was hit by a vehicle off U.S. 51 in the southern part of Tipton County.
Tennessee Highway Patrol spokeswoman Laura McPherson says 54-year-old William Yarbrough was taken into custody in North Carolina on Saturday.
She says he will be returned to Tennessee, where he faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death and destruction of evidence.
McPherson says Yarbrough also will likely be charged with driving on a suspended license.
