DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP) -- Two of three teenagers charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a pregnant Newbern woman are in custody.
Police say 18-year-old Colton Dequan Whitelow and 15-year-old Davonta Duffie are charged in the shooting Wednesday near a housing complex that started over a rivalry between residents of Newbern and Ripley.
Officials say 20-year-old Tamara Brown, who was seven months pregnant, and her fetus were killed. Brown's boyfriend was shot in the hip but survived.
Authorities are still searching for 19-year-old Darnell Madison.
Investigators said Duffie also was charged with first-degree murder in December. Charges were dropped in that case after an investigation found the shooting of an Army soldier was justifiable homicide.
