2 killed in southern Tennessee wreck

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Two people have died in a southern Tennessee wreck, and officials say the southbound lanes of a Lincoln County roadway will probably be closed for a while.

WSMV-TV in Nashville (http://bit.ly/13XqCqn ) reports the Tennessee Highway Patrol said the two-vehicle crash Tuesday involved a commercial vehicle and a passenger. The wreck happened in the southbound lanes of Huntsville Highway near Ardmore Highway.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation says the southbound lanes may not reopen until 8 p.m. CDT. The station says northbound lanes are also moving slowly in the area.
