NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department says two women have been charged after authorities found four pounds of cocaine on a Greyhound bus in North Little Rock.

Texas authorities on Tuesday tipped North Little Rock narcotics investigators that the cocaine was on a bus traveling from Corpus Christi, Texas, to Nashville, Tenn.

The sheriff's department says 48-year old Janie Pridemore of Joelton, Tenn., is charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also charged is 27-year old Samantha Richards of Nashville, who faces a misdemeanor drug possession count.

Richards is free on $1,000 bond and Pridemore is being held at the Pulaski County Jail on $52,500 bond. It was unclear whether either woman has legal representation.
