Officer at high school uses stun gun on student

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- A resource officer at Ooltewah High School in Hamilton County used a stun gun on an 18-year-old student who was fighting with another student.

Sheriff's' Department spokesman Dusty Stokes told the Chattanooga Times Free Press that the officer broke up the fight and one of the students became "very aggressive."

Stokes said an an ambulance was called and the student who was stunned following a Friday afternoon pep rally did not suffer a major injury.

The incident was videotaped.
