COLUMBIA, Tenn. (AP) -- A shooting at a Columbia convenience store has killed two people and wounded a third.
City police said in a news release that 37-year-old Jada Renee Baxter was dead at the scene after the shooting Wednesday morning. Ronald Watson Glass, who was 62, died shortly after arrival at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Anthony Clinton Kelley was found in a nearby parking lot with gunshot wounds and was later reported in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, according to The Daily Herald. Kelley is 21.
Linda Riley, who told the newspaper she was Baxter's aunt, said her niece had recently ended a five-year relationship with Glass and had begun dating Kelley.
Police said their investigation revealed Baxter and Kelley were together at a fuel pump when Glass pulled up and shot them, then shot himself.
